Case study

L'Art du Feu et du Bien-Être

L'Art du Feu et du Bien-Être had no website of its own: a listing on a regional directory, and a phone call to make for the smallest change. We delivered a custom showcase website paired with a back-office that puts the team back in control — 27 brands and 15 supplier catalogues are now published and kept up to date by the company itself, with no developer and no delay.

The client

L'Art du Feu et du Bien-Être is a showroom based in Hotton, in the province of Luxembourg (Belgium), a few kilometres from Marche-en-Famenne. For more than fifteen years, the company has been advising, selling, installing and servicing across two complementary ranges: pellet and wood stoves, fireplaces, inserts, cookers and boilers on one side; spas, hot tubs, window frames, pergolas, sun protection and roller shutters on the other. Hence two brands, L'Art du Feu and L'Art du Bien-Être, and one shared challenge: presenting a very wide range, drawn from 27 partner brands, and keeping it up to date.

Its service area covers Hotton, Marche-en-Famenne, Rochefort, Rendeux, Somme-Leuze, Ciney and Beauraing, and extends across Wallonia, the provinces of Liège and Namur, and Brussels.

The two brands speak to different audiences, so each has its own website, with a menu link leading from one to the other.

The starting point

Before, the company had no website of its own. Its online presence came down to a listing on wallux.com, a directory of businesses in Wallonia and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg: an introduction page, an opening hours page, a catalogues page. Visible, but hosted and controlled by the portal.

The consequence was simple, and it came up every day: every change went through a request to a third party. A seasonal promotion to launch, opening hours to correct, a new supplier catalogue to publish — nothing could be done in-house. The company controlled neither the publishing delay, nor the layout, nor the timing.

For a showroom whose offer spans dozens of brands and follows the seasons — stoves in autumn, spas and sun protection in spring — that dependency had a real cost: content that rarely reflected what was actually in store.

The result

The company is satisfied with the solution, which saves it a considerable amount of time. It no longer has to route its requests through a third party and wait: a promotion, new opening hours, a new catalogue go live the same day, at the moment it chooses.

That is the most visible change day to day: the site now keeps pace with the showroom, season after season, instead of trailing a few days behind.
